The 411 for New Clients

Keep in mind that you won’t be able to get your lashes wet for about 24 hours after the application. This is generally to ensure that the adhesive cures properly (without turning white or sliding off). If you need to wash your hair that day, just do it in advance or make a blow out appointment - but definitely reschedule your hot yoga* or sauna session for the day of the appointment. After that, just live your life! We can always make adjustments accordingly afterward if we notice loss that can be attributed to specific activities.

Come with your eye area clean and free of makeup, oils, and moisturizers. If you use oil as a means of eye makeup removal currently or use oil around your eye area now for moisture, be advised that you won't want to do this while wearing the extensions or just that there may be more loss than normal.

I may add a lash tint as part of the first full set. Lash extensions are black and very few people have black lashes from root to tip. For some people it is a subtle difference but it does make a difference.

If you have sensitivity to light, to ANY adhesives, acrylics, or to any types of bandages, we will want to have a discussion about whether you are a candidate and if you still wish to proceed, will need to do a patch test before moving forward.

I will provide you with a complimentary starter kit with a small amount of cleanser to take home, and we will discuss your current lash health and possible future lash growth options, especially if you plan to maintain the extensions; since as we are putting something on the lashes that is heavier than the lash itself it is always a good idea to ensure you are strengthening what you already have! Don't worry, it'll be seamless. ;)
